My ultimate intention is to show the nature of change  through the practice of art.

Red Shoes is a hand-painted art installation which focuses on reinventing existing form through the medium and practice of art.

This installation visually shows how material substances and formations are subject to change by the perception and manifestation of the artist.

With adjustment and change, the red shoes took a new guise and a new purpose was formed.

It changed from being wearable, to being appreciated as a piece of art, never to be worn, leaving behind what it was originally intended to be.

As with life, we are subject to change at any given moment, nothing stays the same, whether we intentionally change or leave it up to chance…

Change is inevitable, transformation is a choice.
